Piano Lessons

Opportunities for students to gain basic skills in softwares such as Ableton to be able to compose their own songs in genres such as electronic, rap, pop, etc, and further expand their musical skills.

 

Songwriting

Need help writing song lyrics? Miss Dominika has the most experience with rap lyrics, great at helping with rhymes. Can also assist in other genres. Songwriting is a very therapeutic, fun and creative process.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

What age groups and levels do you cater to?

We welcome students from age 4 to adults. Our teaching approach is tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style. While I specialise in working with intermediate/advanced students, I am also now welcoming complete beginners to the studio as well.

Do you offer performance opportunities?

Yes, I host 1-2 recitals a year.

Help! It's too expensive.

While I understand, in today's economy expenses are tight, I can assure you that my rates are still competitive to those of local music schools. You will receive the same, if not better standard of teaching, more flexibility in lesson times, and not deal with the hurdles of admin. Also, I have extensive resources of material for students to supplement learning. 

Which exams can you prepare students for?

AMEB: all levels up to LMusA piano. Up to Grade 6 theory.

ABRSM: all levels up to LMusA piano. 

Trinity: up to Grade 8 piano

What should I bring to my lesson?

I will advise on any recommended books to bring. Please bring a folder for any additional sheets I hand out and a notebook for lesson notes. And don't forget, a desire to make some awesome music!

My child or I has a condition that I'm worried will affect me or my child's progress. What should I do?

Our studio is fully inclusive and is a safe space especially when coming to any mental health struggles, having a Music Psychology background. If you or your child has ADHD, dyslexia, or any other condition you believe may have an impact on your's/their progress, please let me know. I will keep this completely confidential, and do everything in my power to make lessons a much more comfortable process, involving adjusting lesson length, additional breaks, and setting more manageable practice expectations.
